I found this article over on Hemmings, looks like they are going for a World Record up in Vermont with an attempt to have the highest number of Caddy’s in one place. Follow the link for the full story and details for the Orleans County Fair on August 17 in the town of Barton, VT.
The calendar is packed with good shows for the upcoming weekend of July 9th & 10th. Start your Saturday off early in Burlington with the Herb Chambers Cars & Coffee which seems to get fantastic attendance and some really cool exotics among many other genres. The Heritage Museum in Sandwich is hosting its annual antique show, The Larz Anderson has Micro-min car day and most importantly there is a car show for the benefit of tornado victims in western MA and if you have the time I think it would be well worth the time to go and show some support. The show is called Change The Wind and is located in East Longmeadow MA. All proceeds will be going to the tornado victims in Mass. All cars are welcome. Minimum $10 donation per car.
I won’t be able to attend any shows on Saturday as I will be heading out to Lime Rock Park for the ALMS races. This will be a day of firsts for me as I have never seen a race in person and my first time at Lime Rock. I’ll follow up with a spme pictures and a quick write up next week.
Sunday is the day the Bay State Antique Auto Club hosts their annual show at the Endicott Estate in Dedham and I really hope to go to this. It’s a big show with a wide variety of cars including Brass cars, pre-war classics and of course muscle & euro cars.
Check the calendar for a full schedule and let me know if I have missed anything
